LCA re-location. Hate to sound stupid, but what is that??
Bump steer kit, cool, where do/would I get one at? That softens the ride correct?
OO yea, new shocks/struts too, forgot them. What seems to be good brand?

Ok, found the LCA things. Does it ride fine w/o them? And just effects wheel hop. This is not raced, it is a daily driver.

ride is fine with them, but if you do anything to correct for the lowering , LCA brackets are it.
the bump steer kit has nothing to do with the ride, it is is basicly and outer tie rod, with an adjusment to correct for the change in ride height.
baer makes one for our cars.

Ok, so pass on sway bars for NOW, and get them LCA's. They look easy to install.
Put the control arm in the setting that would make it level?
Don't need a new tourqe arm then?

for most people the setting that makes it parrellel to the ground.
no you don't NEED a torque arm. of couse anything you do won't hurt.
if you are only lowering a 1" or so, i won't even bother with the bump steer kit. and if you are using drop spinels to lower, you don't need it either.

I have yet to find drop spindles for the car. Yes, just wanting to do 1"
I read somewhere a suggestion of putting v8 springs in rear and spindles up front, but that kinda sounds "half a$$"
thanks for info on parallel part.
Ugh, looks like about 600 bux to do this. Time to start saving. Springs are more then I thought, and so are some of the other parts.

I bought an Eibach 1.6/1.3 lowering kit. All I needed to change was the sway bar links, (cause they broke) and do an alignement to oe specs. I put slightly shorter sway bar links, and some lowering brackets for the lower control arms in the back to improve take off and reduce wheel hop. I ran for a while without these at first. I've never rubbed the tires anywhere. Though my exhaust clamps will need to be changed soon cause they occasionally kiss the sidewalks. But that's the only thing that drags. And for a couple bucks each it's worth it. I replaced all my bushings, ball joints and steering parts at the same time to have a more accurate feel. I bought Monroe Sensatrac plus shocks too. It's a stiff ride, but it performs a lot better than before. I did a recommended 12.5 mph corner at 30 mph with slight tire noise, but no slidding. I'd like to change all my suspension (exept springs and shocks) to a PST suspension kit.
