Which lift bars
Which lift bars
Hey guys,
Need some serious input to determine which lift bars work best on 3rd gens. There are some fast 3rd gens around. Is the hot setup the Southside lift bars, like I run, or the new modified torque arms (the ones with relocated attachment points)?? My best 60 ft's have been in the 1.53 zone, running a 10.70 et. I"ve seen some 3rd gens lift the tires, but I don't know if they're shocking the hell out of the suspension (transbrake) to do that, or perhaps leaving on the hose.
What've you guys seen? What plants the tires.
Thanks,
Ron S.

I have a friend that has Comp Engineering ladderbars and he runs in the 8's. So naturally that's what I have. My other friend has the Lakewood's with the adjustable preload and he loves them. Hope that helps
Nobody I know runs a torque arm but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. But you can bet that a trans break helps get the tires up----But save your money because when you run a break, that's what parts usually do-----BREAK
