My STB Is Hitting My AIR CONDITIONER!

i just bougyht a kenny brown strut tower brace and it doesnt fit perfectly. it hits the silver pipe coming out of my ac unit on the passenger side and wont line up correctly. i cant still get it to owrk but it dont fit like i guess it should. is this a major problem or are all strut tower braces going to fit differently and this be nothing to worry about?

I wouldn't think this would be an issue. They are supposed to fit right. Maybe you could dimple the bar in question a LITTLE bit with a hammer to get it to clear?
