I did a search and could not find an answer to my question. I didn't see it in the tech data either.

What are the brake disc rotor sizes for the following:

1982-1992 Front/Rear rotor size? Was it the same for all 11 model years or did it change with the PBR calipers?

1988-1992 Front/Rear 1LE rotor size?

1989-1992 1LE: 11.86 front (12"), 11.86 rear (12")

1989-1992 J65: 10.5" front, 11.86 (12") rear

Late 1991 and all 1992 RS B4C: 11.86 (12") front, 11.86 (12") rear

I don't know about 1982-1988, but I know the rears were smaller, I believe fronts were 10.5".

1989-1992 1LE front was dual piston PBR, and rears were single piston PBR

Front 1LE PBR calipers were aluminum, rears I don't know.

1982 - 1988 standard rear discs we're also 10.5" like the fronts, using cast iron single piston calipers on all 4 corners.

 

yeah my 88 rear disk rotors from my 88 formula 350 were definitely smaller than the ones on my 91 formula 350.

 

Baer list their 89-92 enhanced rotors as 11.65" x .81" Rotors.

 

my 89 Formula,has a lil under 11 inch front and 11 3/4 back aprox. Why did they do the rears bigger and not the fronts??
