bumpy ride on highway

can shakes like a **** on highway...what could pose this problem???????

front end probably needs to be aligned, that's most likely what would cause it

Could also be a bent rim - mine did that - wasn't noticable unti labout 45 MPH - I had a shop spin rim on wheel balancer and you could see that it was off - damned potholesd!

There are tons of things that could cause that. Bent axle, shot bearings, bent rim, out-of-round tires, unbalanced driveshaft, unbalanced tires, worn struts, worn tie rods. There are alot of things that could cause the shakes. I know on my car its a bent raer axle from going off of one too many curbs. But oh well, I have a 4th gen rear waiting to go on.

ever see those videos of cars that have the front hydrolics goin all crazy and it looks like the front end is hopin all over??? thats what my car does on the highway but thats cause my springs are shot and my struts are dead.
