Has anyone moved their front cross member from side to side. Looks like 6 bolts into the body frame and another 6 for the brackets on the front. Any suprises? I want to move it 1/4"

It won't work. There's 2 dowel pins on each side of the K member that locate it centered on the frame. Why do you want to do this anyway?

You can see them, they're in front of the spring pockets.

Thanks for the info. I kind of thought there might be something like that. The few bolts I took out seemed to have slotted holes, maybe even body shop done. I think the car has been whacked before and the wheels sit different on one side than the other. You have to look close to notice it. It would be interesting to know if both those pins are still there. Funny thing is the car is one of the nicest driving cars I have ever had.

I had to move my PA K-member after install the K-member was to far to the driver side. The drivers header hit the steering shaft and all I did was unbolt and used a big screw driver to push it over now I have the same room for the drivers header.
When you move the K-member the camber will change on both sides (one more and one less camber ) also the steering wheel will move off center the toe and caster will stay the same.
If you need a better picture I can take better one.
