Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
V6 rear springs should be the same as V8 rear springs since the rear weight of the car is the same. The only rear springs that should be different are IROC and WS6. They have a higher spring rate for performance handling.

Measure the thickness of the wire. A smaller diameter wire has less spring rate.

what about the 50 gm part#s for springs

if you look in a gm book they have about 50 different codes what they mean i have no idea but they are not all the same need a part number for the softest one. and the code

YOu could go to http://www.federalmogul.com , go to the Moog link, then go to the online catalog, and look up Moog springs for a v6.
