steering box and swar bars
i cracked/broke the mounting point (happens to alot of f bodies) on the chassis for the steering box and im going to have it welded... ? is how do i prevent this from happening in the future... can i have plates welded to the frame to strenghten it?
other thing is should i go w/ a stock 36 hollow 24 solid setup or a setup like what spohn has solid/solid also what size approminately are the spohns in mm

I live in Australia and my car was converted to right-hand drive. The steering box was mounted on the other side on the frame. It used to move a bit until I had a metal box made from plate steel and now the box is very stationary. Works great.
Wonderbar is the way to go. AKA Steering Box Brace (and for good reason).
If you can weld up plates, it would work the same way.
Just a side question: has anyone considered welded wonderbars?
