Traction Action Lift Bars

I was looking at Lakewoods Traction Action Lift Bars with the lower control arm. I talked to the guy that I am buying my cage from and he is running those. Has anyone run them? He said they run great. He cuts a 1.52 60 ft at 10.50s on slicks so is that decent or should it be better/worse? He is running stock rear end (gm gears, moser axles, strange mini spool) and stock torque arm (poly bushing). He was running 10.50s with only subframe connectors and these. Some opinions quick would be great! Buy or no? I can get them brand new for $100...

I made a post earlier asking about them...

No replies yet, but from what I see they are just a pre-manufactured LCA + relocation bracket.

They have my interest.. I'm just curious as to other thirdgens with them.

Where can you get them for $100? They are $199 @ Jegs..

I have the regular Lakewood LCAs and Spohn reloc brackets. The ride quality was not affected at all by this installation. Plus, it's much simpler than the other, and I would expect, much more long-term reliable, since it's a single welded piece on each side with no extra joints, no hardware to clamp it around the axle tube, etc.

Personally I would not buy those. I like the setup I have. But I have no times to compare to.

traction action bars

yeah the ride quality is tolerable but i really see no real effect in improve ments in 60 foots the control arm is in the same location as stock the only thing i see them doing is preloading the rear with those turnbuckles on them . best improvement would be relocators and boxed control arms!! i make the same sixty as my buddy with them!!
