Strut tower brace / subframe connectors???
Strut tower brace / subframe connectors???
Hey All,
I've got a set of subframe connectors
( I think that is what they are. )
I'll snap a pic and update this post in a bit.
I'm also wondering about a front strut brace
I need to know the best way to go about installing the subframe connectors,
and a suggestion for a front strut brace that isn't terribly expensive.
Thanks in advance!

i went with these sfc's

basically the install for these is that you have to raise the car up on all four wheels so the body is straight..
the ones i got are weld in only sfc's..
for a strut tower bar i got the one from eldebrock..

I've been looking for a strut tower brace and I'm just curious does the brace from edelbrock require mounting to the firewall.
P.S. I used frame connectors in my 67 camaro and it really firmed the entire car up, but it has a 575 hp BB and without them my car probably would have twisted in half......

You can get the 2-point stb. I like the 3-point best, but if you don't want to deal with the firewall, actually it's the cowl.

I bought one (Edelbrock Strut Tower Brace for TBI/carb.) but in the rush to get it I didn't check
that it wouldn't fit on cars with the A/C on the driver's side... does any one want to buy it?
$120 takes it!
