Making custom SFC setup, Pics inside
Well guys goin to try to make my own SFC setup, i bought a 86 ta a few weeks ago and rebuild the motor was a stock mid 70's 350, i kept the lower half assembly for now and did the upper half with the following, Comp cams racing cam, 250/260 degree, 532/.555" lift, new pushrods and solid lifters, true dual timing chain, 88' 350 l98 heads ported, re studded w/treaded stud in the heads, i took a 4-barrel intake and gutted the center to a custom large mouth design, and replaces the carb with a holley 850 DP jetted, and eliminated the computer and emmisions systems. so now im up to the frame and decided to build my own SFC's,
so here's the pics, gonna post em as i get em in place, tell me what you guys think so far.

no flame intended, but your engine isnt going to perform very well. considering the low compression and tight lsa on the cam, youre gonna be way low on the comrpression side, i would look at something about the same size on a 112 lsa, just trying to help, and that motor isnt nearly big enough to use an 850. just my opinion,
good luck, looks like youve got some work ahead of you.
