STB & Poly Motor Mount Combinations...

Hate to bring up poly motor mounts but for this question I have to. Sorry. (Yes I know that poly motor mounts raise the motor) I was just wondering if there are any guys running Hotchkis STB's with poly motor mounts and if so what kind of poly mounts are they. Even if you're running a different STB (other than Hotchkis) post your combination. Im really curious to see what works and what doesnt....

Later..

I run the Energy suspension motor mounts in my 91 formula. I have a lot of clearance between the hotchkis strut tower brace and my miniram on my 406 motor.

When inspection time comes around every 2 years in jersey, the energy suspension mounts, notchkis strut tower brace and stock tpi have about 1/4" clearance but do fit.

where in NJ are you from?

I live in West Paterson...

Ive been switching from "yeah i want poly mounts" to "no I dont want them." Ive read too many bad things about poly mounts (rough ride) and I dont think Im gonna get them. Granted what may be rough to you may be soft to me. Theres no way Im gonna put poly mounts in...take the gamble...and find out that the ride is tooooo hard for me. Im pretty sure Im gonna opt for stock mounts...thanks for the info though.

The poly mounts are definately a harsher ride. Besides that, they are a real pain in the rear to install. I did mine with the motor out and it was still a pain.

If you are not 100% sure you want them, i would pass on them.
