Yesterday I was checking to see if I could swap my rear disks to my 10 bolt. I was down there and noticed it wouldnt be to hard to switch the springs, and the ones that were on there were really bad. I swapped them, and the ride is much better. My question is, the springs from the 85 are 1/2" shorter but had one more coil on them than the ones from the 89' either way i dropped about 1/2" and the ride is excellent.

Next question- My front sits at 26 on the driver side and 27 on the passenger, would it be okay to swap my front spring off of my 85 onto the 89 also? I was told it wouldnt be good since they are used, but the 85' rode like a dream before it was totaled
