Iroc vs Z28 and other ?'s
I have found an Iroc which I am getting a lot of parts off of. I currently have an 86 z28 with front and rear discs. I am getting the wonderbar off the iroc but what other parts are differnt? I have always heard the steering box was tigher but a tech artical made me think that isnt always the case. Are the Sway bars the same size? I know this coms up alot but I have found so many contradicting facts Im not sure whats right. Any help with this would be great.
also.... Competition engineering weld in subframe conectors.. anyone use them? How are they?
My car is lowered and I just bought poly bushing they whole way around, I need new shocks and struts, what type should I get? And where from?
Any recomendations fro what to do or anything would be great, thanks everyone!

someone has to know this stuff, please!
I have a set of CE sub frame connectors. They were the bolt in kind. After bolting them in I wewlded them for good measure. This was in 1992. Theye are still there. Car is stiff. Only problem is exaust had to be moved. It is very low now as it had to go on the road side if the sub frame connector.

I think the Iroc springs are generally much stiffer. Sway bars are probably quite similar and not worth worrying about.

Get the RPO codes off both cars and compare them. My '91 RS is a F41 car which gave me the same springs as my '88 Iroc has. It'll take some looking into.
As far as shocks/struts, most of us are happy with KYBs. If money isn't a problem, upgrade to Bilsteins or Koni.
Also, use the search for shocks and struts and you'll get a load of info on them.
