4th Gen Firebird 18 inch rims on a Third Gen Camaro

Will some 4th Gen Firebird Rims fit on a Third Gen Camaro? I got an 88 Camaro RS, now I know they will fit under the wheel wells, now will, the lug pattern work? I know it's a standard 5 lug, but, when my friend wanted to put these same rims on his car, not saure what his car was, they didn't fit for some odd reason. Will they fit, or no?

No stock F-Body ever came with 18's. The bolt pattern is the same between 3rd and 4th gen cars. If the wheels in question have the stock 4th gen F-Body backspacing, they need 2" adapters. There is some great info on wheel adapters here: http://www.skulte.com/adapterfaq.html

He also sells the adpaters there too. Very high quality and he'll (Andris) help you out with what you need if you have any questions.

For some reason, I still read these threads whenever this subject comes up (every other day). Keep thinking there might be some new info that 4th gen wheels will miracuously work w/o spacers/adapters on 3rd gens ... but they still don't.
