I will be installing a set of DropZone lowering springs on my 92rs this weekend. Can anyone suggest anything else that should be replaced or done while I have things apart? Thanks

You will at least need to get lower control arm relocation brackets so that the rear end geometry will stay the same. You could also use an adjustable panhard rod because your rear end will need to be re-centered and this will fix the problem. I would also recommend getting some new lower control arms, but if you are on a tight budget, then you can probably wait on those unless you have bad wheel hop or need better traction.
All of these parts can be purchase from Steve Spohn (link up top) and various other manufacturers. If you want to look at other manufacturers, read around the board to check them out or do a search for the part name and manufacturers will pop up.
Hope that helps,
Jesse

yes that relocation brackets and stuff will help with traction problems,,,but you shouldnt knowtice it alot unless your drag racing. The panard bar is a good idea but my uncle put my car on his top of the line alinment computer system and he said my rear is fine (with my DZ installed). And that i dont really need it. It would be good to put those parts on but they are definetly not nessesary!!!
When I put my dz in make sure you tape the front isolators to the springs to prevent them binding your springs up and not seating right,,,i even used a little grease on them so theyd slid up into the frame pockets nicely,,,,the first time we didnt do it the car sat too high cause one of the middle coils were binding on the frame cause an isolator was binding so the spring wasnt seating right.
theres only 2 things you should really do:
Do the shocks too if you need them,,,,I didnt and it wasnt like a month before I was replacing the shocks/struts too....it rides 10 times nicer with new struts,,,,springs ride nice too but youll knootice it alot more with working shocks.
Maybe cheack your stabalizer bar end links cause you got to take them off anyhow you will have to replace them if there shot or youll never get them back on because of corrosion.
Screw putting on other expensive stuff just get those dz on there and show us some pics hahahah

Hey jeff, thanks for the advice. I havent purchased a panhard bar yet, so I will try it without. I spoke to a buy that put dz's on his ss and he said the same thing, he didnt really need it. It may be nice to have installed in the future, but for now I just am trying to really get a better ride. I will post pics as soon as I am done.
