I may have mixed up the caliper bolts when putting the caliper back on the car can one go on top and one on the bottom and vise verus or are they made to go only in one spot? One seems to be a little longer then the other, thanks

They are supposed to be the same.

Somebody probably replaced one, and the new one is slightly different.

If it bothers you, a pair of new ones is about $5.

If yours have any visible wear where the pads or the caliper contact them I highly recommend replacing them. I change mine every couple hundred thousand miles whether they need it or not, just to keep that fuzzy feeling going.
