Coil Springs
Hi,
I was fitting a set of front shocks on my 82 Firebird at the weekend and I found that the passenger Coil Spring had a piece broken off it. Because of my location I can't get springs easily and don't want to wait weeks to get stuff from the US or the UK, I want to put the car back together again!. I know this is a long shot but here goes, Does anyone out there know of any coil spring used on european cars/vans that will fit a Firebird. I have been looking in the local yards but as of yet nothing to suit.

As long as the spring in question is 5 and 1/2 OD it should fit. Might hold you over untill you get a real set made for your car. Dont know any Euro makes/models off the top of my head, sorry.
