Just got new springs and shocks installed yesterday!

Hi all! yesterday i got new coil springs and shocks installed on my 89 Pontiac T/A I went with the stock v8 firebied springs and monroe synsatrack shocks.Wow what a difference!!:hail: I feel like im driving a new car now.The ride before was teethchatteringly harsh over bumps. Now the ride is still firm but alot smoother. The car sits a little higher now but it should go down some afer the springs settle in.The car seems to handle better now to. I can take curves without bouncing around all over the place.I know alot of people on this board have the same problem i had with the harsh ride.Im very happy with the results just thought id let you guys know I had this mechanic install the springs and the shocks for only 200.00 I know alot of people here probabaly think i should have gone with stiffer or lowering springs but i wanted a softer ride and it still handles awsome! Now i just have to find some new wheels, come to find out mine are causing my vibration problem. Im interested in hearing what suspenion shocks and springs you guys got?Let me know

congrats on hearing you like how your car rides softer and smoother.

i have a prokit from eibach in my garage waiting to go in.

for shocks i am thinking lakewood 50/50's, getting into drag racing more. i am not a handling kind of person.

i am thinking lakewood 70/30 struts right now also.

I put some Suspension Technique Sport lowering springs on my car last week. Much better handling car now. I also put some SFC, Tower brace , new KYB shocks and struts and the springs. The car lowered 2" which looks cool but I need to be careful over low areas otherwise I'm happy,, the ride is somewhat harder but this is not my everyday commute car but my weekend car.
