Adjustable panhard length
Anybody have a minimum length of adjustable panhard bar? I need one that will adjust 2" shorter than stock.
I put a Ford 9" in and the stock bar is about 2" too long. They must've welded the bracket in the wrong location.

This is my adjustable Lakewood panhard and it is set maybe 1/4" shorter than stock.
If you took off the lock nut and screwed the end all the way in, it might give you 1.5" at the most., but then again, you could cut the bar to fit if you need to.
This bar was $90 at Jegs.com

That's a good price for the adjustable bar but I'd still go with Spohn's stuff. I like his quality and his products. Just thought I'd through in that plug.
Also zeph, remove those bump stops! If you've got the wheels and tires I think you have then you don't need the bump stops. Having the tires bottom out isn't as annoying as having the bump stops hit. I removed mine from the rear and it made a noticable difference in ride quality.
As for the length of the panhard, you could just cut and weld. That's what I would do for right now. Then get the parts to make your own panhard adjustable for the length you require. The materials really aren't that expensive.

I've been meaning to remove the bumpstops, just keep forgetting about them. They look really close to the wheels too.
I chose the lakewood because of the price. At the time, I had $1,500 to spend and wanted to maximize my dollar.
$1500 doesn't go far when modding these cars.
