Lowering spindles, anyone else?
Does anyone else besides Belltech make lowering spindles for the third gens? I was reading on this site that belltech was bringing them back. This is wrong, and according to belltech not going to happen.
I want to lower this thing correctly, I am looking for some for sale, or another company.
Please help guys/gals.
thanks
daniel

I've been watching for a while. I was going to see if Belltech would make another run for a group purchase. I'll let you guys know how that works out. It would almost be worth buying a couple sets myself to sell them later, when they are unavailable.

Cool, see I need to have a bunch of people agree to wanting lowering spindles. They are the correct way to lower any vehicle. I will send an email and see how many people that he wants before he will start making them again.
group purchase
When I called Belltech about the lowering spindles, the salesperson told me that they would only make them if some one wanted to buy a 100 pair.
I would most certainly love to go in on a group purchase.
SSBrakes has a 2 inch drop spindle for the 3rd generation Camaro, but they will only sell them with the brake kit, which are around a $1000.

Well, we are a far way from 100 people. Let me talk to Matt Brandt with belltech and see if they will make a deal. I will bring this post back when I get a answer. Thanks.

They would make money, you just wouldn't have to make that many of them. It's like the headers that summit has for our cars, they are the same thing as SLP (or edelbrock, can't remember).
I would most likely go along with a GP like that.
Now, what kind of an accomplishment would it be to convince a total of 100 of us and our friends to get some?
I think that would be a record GP. Can it be done?

Agreed. That is why they quit making them. People seemed interested, but no one bought them. I got my IROC a year before they quit, if only I had known when I first bought it; I would have bought some then.
