IROC steering problem--HELP!!!!

OK I have a 89 IROCZ and it orgimally came with 15 inch IROC style wheels. I have since then swiched them to 16 inch. My question is does my car have the quick ratio steering?? Te problem I have now is that it seems very loose. there is no slop in the steering componets but it takes very very little effort to turn the wheel while driving down the road. I have a 87 GTA with 80000 miles on it and it has some resistance in it but my camaro does not. I almost could get it to turn from lock to lock while giving the wheel a good spin, thats how bad it is. Although my camaro has 250000 miles on it could it be the steering box wore out??? It is aggervating to keep in a straight line gong down the road???

in order from the steering wheel down, I'd check the rag joint, then the steering box, next the idler arm, and then the tie rod ends.
