Hi all!
I am looking for some information out there! I figured that you Chevy camaro guys are the ones to ask!!! I only want info on the GM factory ones.

What year did the wonderbar start being used in the Camaro??

Were they all the same? Meaning exactly the same throughtout all the years. Or were some years alittle bit different??

The reason I ask is, I have found some slightly different types, all factory. Not many differences, but some!

IIRC, they started in '85-86 on the Irocs and continued until the Iroc went away. I have heard that some Z28s left the factory with them installed, probably to get rid of stock. And I thought they were all the same, all I have seen are identical.

I've seen pictures of two versions. One had provision for mounting it with 3 bolts, similar to how my new version does.

As far as the 91-92 Z28 with a wonderbar argument, I have not seen one with a wonderbar. Even 2 1991 1LE's that I looked over didn't have the wonderbar.

My car does have a wonderbar, I went to Spohn to get my SFC welded in and figured hey I'll get my LCA relcoation brackets put on along with LCA's, panhard bar and wonder bar.. He went to put it in and I already had one I assume its factory unless the guy before me put it in..

My car came with the wonderbar from the factory. Model year 91, but really 90.5 after losing the IROC tag.

I've had 5 GM wonderbars and all were identical.
This is one I got off of an 86 or 87 Iroc,

I have now seen three different versions of the factory wonderbar! The latest is the three per side bolt on one!
I'll try to get pictures to put up on the net somewhere to show everybody.
Also, the three bolts per side one was on an early year. 1986. Did they start in '86 or '85? Anybody know??
