Original shocks

My shocks are pretty rusted on the lower mount. I have been spraying them all day with supertech rust breaker from walmart and the bolt wont budge. Does anybody have any suggestions? Could it be because i didnt do the top mount first. I have worked on the is for like 6 hours total.

maybe try tapping it alittle with a hammer and maybe try and use a big long breaker bar. thats what i probably need to do when i change my shocks because mine look pretty rusted also.

Break the shock mounts off and get the $5 replacements in the help section at Auto Zone. They work fine and come with new bushings so you have an extra set.

HTH...

Nope, not welded. Use a 21mm socket to remove them.
