Brake Booster Check Valve...

Ok, I have an 84 berlinetta and mine broke (the nozzle that goes to the carb completely broke off... old, what'cha gonna do) so I went to the hardware store to see if they could order me one.. Well, the guy couldn't even find it in the book, so I figured what the hey and went up to the junkyard. I searched around for a while, and couldn't find one exactly the same, so I ended up grabbing one off of a newer firebird that was a little different (found the same one on a few newer camaros), but on the nozzle that goes to the master cylinder there's a little pin sticking out. On the old one there was no pin sticking out, it was just a flat plastic face there.

So will this new one work or not? Or does anyone know? If not, where can I order a replacement of the original from?

shouldn't matter what it looks liek long as it fits, check valve is a one way valve, it's hard to get away from that reguardless of what it looks like. dorman help line has check valves.

I bought one at a local shop, it was in the 'Help' section. Just another option.
