Oops...shaved a stud bolt!
And no, my wheel did not come off on the highway but I was surprised that it didn't when I pulled the centercap off and found that 1 bolt was completely sheared at the rotor and three lug nuts had loosened.
I kept hearing a rattle that sounded like a loose upper strut mount or suspension piece at first, but got more annoying.
Made it to my moms driveway; I could not get the broken stud out and no machien shops open on late Sunday. By some unknown stroke of luck I had a spare rotor in the trunk and just switched them out.
Whats the easiest way to get those stud bolts out?? I hammered on them pretty good but could not get them to punch out.

Gotta press them out with a press. I have heard you CAN hammer them out but it will take all day. Fine a machine shop and I'm sure they will press them out for cheap. Replace them all while you're at it. A set of ARP studs will run you $20.
