How long will BFG drag radials really last?

Alright, I've heard lots of different answers to this so how long do they really last? Ive heard anywhere from 1,000 miles to 15,000 miles. How long do you guys think a set would last me if I went to the track every week or 2 and otherwise was easy on the tires and didnt drive too hard? Do you think I could get 10,000 miles out of a set?

Had a set on my GTA, I got about 4000 miles out of them before they were completely bald. but I pushed them to about 5500 miles and it wasn't fun in the rain.

But they are a great tire, and the car felt great on the launch. 60ft times droped half a second. If i ever bought another set i would mount them on a set or spare rims put them on before i head out to the track.

I just bought my second set. I got about 8000 miles and 5 years out of them. They were really bald in the end. I did not use them at the track, couldnt hook, switched to ET Streets at the track. For the street I loved them. Much stickier than any conventional street tire. I have a traction problem with a blown 383. In the end they actually got less sticky due i think to constant heat cycling from much street use. However the first 6000 miles they really stuck on the street for me. NOT recomended for rainy weather use.

Don't even think about using these on the street for extended periods. I have about 20 track passes on mine and they were bald by 5000 miles. At 3000 miles I was hydroplaning in the rain.

Has anyone tried using them on the fronts as well as the rears? Maybe for an autocross car?

That would be absolutely horrible due to the flexible sidewall.

Look into a set of Nittos if you want an auto cross tire. They've come out w/ really nice road race/street tire.

well...my tires although not BFG's have been lasting for a long *** time. I've been drifting with them all the time...atleast 3-5 times a month. And they still got tons of life left.

haha...well yea I was just mentioning though that my drag radials are lasting a long time. So the BFG's I'm guessing last pretty long too.

The BFGs don't last long ... especially with track use.
