odd problem after iroc gearbox swap, need some help
I just installed a gearbox and ragjoint i got out of an 88 iroc, i got these parts for free so i figured why not put them in my car, i have an 88 sc. Well after installing the gearbox and ragjoint the steering is ALOT tighter its almost weird with my old gearbox my steering was so easy to turn(easier then most new cars)now it takes quite a bit more effort, is this normal? And now for the problem, the wheel will turn to the right pretty freely but to the left it almost does not want to go it takes a lot more effort to move the wheel left than it it to move it right. What could this be, i mean i kept my old gearbox just incase but i hate to have to put it back in if i can fix this problem, is it possible the gearbox is no good? All help is greatly aprecciated. Thanks

Most of the steering boxes in our cars take some effort to turn. But they should deffinatley be even side to side. Sounds like the box is on its last leg.
Is it possible its something else because i really like this fast ratio box lol. I cant deal with this problem though, My car now makes a click noise when i move the wheel a few inches to the left and does the same when i move it to the right, it never did this before, what could it be? It also makes the same clicking noise when i go over bumps which it also never did. What could be casuing this? All help is apreciated.
