92 camaro Z28

this a newbie question I know so go ahead and let me have it but....

I need to know what the susp. setup is for a 92 Z28. Is it front shocks rear leaf springs, coils all around........

I am trying to research the best susp. setup for my car keeping in mind it is a daily driver and I dont want to knock my teeth out when I hit a bump in the road.

My current purchase is a 92 Z28 with and it has 168K plus miles on it and I am pretty sure the susp. components are very old and need to be replaced.

Welcome aboard noob. I won't let you have it but others will.

Read this:

Then read a few tech articles and search a bit for words relating to your questions. First off, look your car over good to get familiar with it, and get yourself a basic Haynes manual for your car. This will help you understand the sickness you will soon be overcome with.

Ed

BTW: Struts front, shocks rear. Replace yours with KYBs soon.
