New tranny mount, wont work

Well awhile ago i got the energy suspension master kit. I installed everything but the transmition mount. So like yesterday i tried to do it and the new mount wont work. I looked and for some reason my car has a completely different crossmember than every other third gen camaro i've seen. And my stock trans mount looks nothing like the new one. My mount has a big round circle on the bottom. The mount comes right through a hole in middle of the crossmember. I'm not sure why have this different crossmember. Well i was thinking and the stock mount is really big, and my car came with the soft ride suspension system so i was thinking maybe the bigger mount was to absorb more vibrations. Can anyone shed some light on this?

That's that crappy "fluid filled" v6 trans mount; you don't need it. All you need is a junkyard crossmember that doesn't have a large "hole" in the middle of it. It'll have one little bolt hole in the middle; that's what you'd use for your ES trans mount.
