I bought a 4th gen rear that has TCS on it and have since realized that's a real PITA to swap into our cars, if possible at all due to the setup of the brake lines. Is there any way I can make this work? I definitely need help with this. Thanks.

Just leave the TCS lines alone, tie them up or remove them...the rear will work just fine.....OR give it to me...

I was under the impression I had to use the TCS brake lines (the rear hasn't arrived yet for me to see for myself). What makes the TCS lines different than standard lines? How hard would it be to make them work and have a 3rd gen with TCS?

There's one hard brake line for each caliper, it would be a huge hassle to hook up.

Unless you like a lot of computer work, you'd have to install some type of ABS computer like the 4th gens have. Our cars have nothing installed for this.

My stock rear brakes have one hard line for each caliper on the rear hooked to a rubber line that both hard lines attach to and then goes to the body.

My new rear which came off of a 99 SS with traction control has 2 hard lines, shouldn't be too hard to hook them to a y and then to the body, right?

I just took the TCS sensor wires off of the sensors in the backing plates.
