Lowering and 60ft times
I need to a little help in settling a friendly disagreement between two people. My brother made the statement to me that lowering a vehicle (i.e. just doing the springs and nothing else) will aid in reducing 60 foot times on the drag strip.
My response to him was to say that is total BS. I asked him to prove this to me and needless to say he has not done been able to do so. Because of that I agreed to post this question and see what is really what.
Thanks in advance for all replies.

lowering springs will cause the angle of the lower control arms to change alittle bit, not in a good way most of the time; thus thats why spohn and other companies make lower control arm relocation brackets.
lower springs would be good for autocrosisng and handling, but my eibach drag springs lifted my rear end some and they are suppose to improve 60 foot times.
