9 Second QTR and 1.0 G...Possible?

Autocross-street versus dragstrip setup Suspension
With the adjustability of aftermarket equipment available...how high of a G can you manage out of a high 9second Qtr mile car? or, how quick of a time can you manage out of a 1.0 G car?

Say this car will retain majority of components, weighing 3200-3500 lbs. A streetable car that can do high 9s...

Can it be done?

Appreciate any comments...

I own a 10.8 sec 1/4mile roadrace Vette that will pull 1 g on street tires without touching the suspension- I'm sure it can be done with a third gen. It still is streetable-headlights, doorpanels, licence plate, etc.

Edit: I should also note- that is withOUT juice. N/A

In terms of suspension...
High .9 Gs at least, with the quickest times I can (high 9s being the goal). I'm willing to trade off one way or the other. Just curious if my goal is a realistic one.

AGood2.8,
Could you please elaborate on your setup? And how your able to get your 1.0G car to pull the proper 60' times to get into the 10s...

Edit: I'm trying to figure the proper way to go about doing this. Build a road race set up type car with the potential power for the qtr time, and then just figure out how to get it to hook?

I mentioned above and I'll mention again in case you missed it that this is done in my Vette, not my Camaro- An entirely different suspension setup than F-bodies, so explaining wont help you.

full pic of rearend at ride height-(old pic from when I used to autoX alot) I can still spin (not chirp, spin) the 315/35/17's at 60mph when I throw the 1/2 shift with the hammer down. 540rwhp 327ci smallblock that tacs 8500rpms. I did all of the testing for Centerforce's dual friction clutch in this car years back (Know Mike Hayes well-they used to sponsor me along with Cone Chev in Fullerton Ca.) Centerforce is now in Arizona because of B.S calif regulations.

Not quite sure how to take that
I know Vettes 63 up have the IRS. But every little bit of useful information helps. Thanks for the pics though...

Sorry partner, I not trying to be an *** with that comments- Its just a fact that nothing on the two cars is the same rates geometry, or settings - front or rear, chassis different, weight bias different, etc, etc,... Not one performance setting will help. I only posted to answer if it can be done (1g+9sec 1/4) and said I had close but a vette.

Lighten the heck out of everything, balance the suspension, and run big, big torque to make up for wheel spin at low speeds in the quarter- My Camaro pulls over 1g on street tires but is a slug in the 1/4 (v6 only pulling 15.9).
