Question after Belltech drop spindle install...
Installed Belltech's 2" drop spindles among other things on my car lastnight and now my toe is wayyyy wayyyyyyy out. Is this normal for those who have installed them also?
I also installed some custom springs and weight jacks but I'm able to bring the car back up to stock height with this even and it's only dropped about an inch from stock height at the moment. Is it just the drop spindles affecting my toe so badly??? I can bring in my outer tie rods about an inch on either side but I'm not sure if this is gonna be enough to get both my wheels pointed straight.
Did you guys who have the spindles get a bumpsteer kit after or is something else messed here???

The whole point of using drop spindles in the first place is to avoid disturbing the front end geometry; the actual spindle is just supposed to be moved upwards by however much on the forging, compared to stock.
I'd try adjusting the toe by eye or even by pulling a string on it, and see if it comes out reasonable. Toe isn't one of the things you adjust other front end componenets to; it's the last thing you adjust to make up for changes in other components. A "slave" setting not a "master". As long as you can adjust it back to where it belongs, the fact that you had to adjust it doesn't matter, by itself. The reason you had to adjust it might be significant; but if it's just something like that the steering arm part of the spindle is shaped differently on the new spindles, then it's of no consequence.

yea im pretty sure the it's partly because the arm is shaped differently but i think the actual strut mount on the spindle may be slightly moved also to compensate for the caliper mount having to be moved up also. anyway, gonna see what I can do today. wish me luck

Anytime you change any suspension stuff, the alignment needs to be checked and adjusted. The toe being last--it is affected by the camber/caster(not much but enough). Lots of things can explain away your screwed up toe. For example, what if you had a tweaked spindle before you replaced them--the toe would have been altered to compensate for the bent spindle. Now you don't have a bent spindle. What if the belltech tie-rod mount is slightly different than stock..... I would just verify everything is tight, take it to an alignment shop, get a performance alignment, and enjoy

ok whew! i got the toe set straight enough that i could drive it home today and i'll be able to drive it to get an alignment done. needs camber also but damn its sweet.
