Front and Rear Rims

I recently found out that there is a difference between the front and rear rims on my firebird. My car had been through a lot before I bought it and i am not sure whether the rims are in the correct spots. More likley than not, the tires were rotated in the traditional way. Is there any way to tell which rims should be in the front and which are in the back?

Also, one of the rims is leaking due to an indent, also from the previous owner. Is there any way to repair the rim, or would I be better off getting a new one. I have the formula 16" rims.

Thanks
