installing alston sfcs...

just got mine today, they look great. before i weld em in i was wonderin somethin. is just welding them to the subframes fine or is welding the tubular part to the floor boards a good idea as well?

you get the $189 ones? then the tube part wont touch the floor, is clears by about 1/8-1/4"

I just welded mine to the subframe. That was only a week ago, but it seems to work just fine. I have put a lot of stress on them jacking the car up different ways, though. A good weld job at the subframes should do it.
