Earl's Performance Solo Bleed Brake Bleeders
Hello just wondering if anyone has this "bleeders", please comment on them. I found them on SUMMIT but they have two, wich one would fit a 1985 4 wheel disc brake Iroc-Z ?
1.Universal, 3/8 in.-24 thread, 1-11/64 in. long, steel, zinc plated, Solo-Bleed brake bleeder screws
2.5/16 in.-24 thread, 1 in. long, steel brake bleeders
Im really thinking about getting them, the earls brake line kit also. Any positive or negative remarks, posts,or comments about the bleeders will be greatly appreciated.

If you have the iron calipers (non-1LE) the part # for solo-bleed's is #280029. This # will work for fronts and/or rears and sells for aprox. $9 a pair.
I have used Solo-Bleeds on every car I own for years. They work great. Don't buy the Russell Speedbleeders- They are a different design relying on a teflon thread seal that wears out after one or two uses. The Earls Solobleeds do not rely on this method- they are a much better design and will last you forever- Well nothing really lasts forever, but you get the point.- I have never had one malfunction in all the years I've used them.

i always try to give a kickback to the orignal guy who came up with the idea and invented them... you know, the guy that made them before holley and other big guys started copying him..

Soory but those are the Russell style and are crap. The threads leak and will suck air back through. Earl's design has the spring and plunger recessed in the fluid line before the threads, not inside the valve itself.
