Suspension

Does anyone out there know of a good suspension wher eit won't make my car feel like it is a truck. I want to be able to have a smoothe ride. I love the sport suspension and everything on dry flat lands but in new jersey it is murder on my car. Any hellp would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

as wierd as it sounds, stiffening the chassis by adding SFCs makes a world of diff when going over rough pavement...

instead of the car creaking, and flexing, it holds it still and lets the suspension do its job.

Yeah, SFC's are nice.

More or less if you're looking for a picture perfect ride it's not going to happen in these cars.

Course my formula still rides 10x better than my sister's 89 vert stang.

If you wann loose the creaks and noises go with SFC's to start with... it pretty much makes the car body stronger and doesn't let the body flex as much. Letting the suspension take more of the beating.

My T/A is an 86. So I am guessing she has taken much of a beating over the years. She does have the ws6 package. If thats any help. How much would that part u mentioned go for?

If you add subframes and leave the ret of your set-up stock you will have the smoothest ride. Anytime you "stiffen" the suspension you harshen the ride. After I lowered my ride and added a whole slew of suspension stuff my car rode like a rock but boy it sure does handle well.
