Just doing the bushings would probably net a huge difference in the handling. However, if you can afford it why not just replace all the parts with higher quality aftermarket stuff.
PST makes a good rebuild kit that doesn't cost too much.

I'm about to do mine, so here's what I've come up with:
Pst is an okay deal. For $159 you get two outer tie rod ends, two ball joints, 4 lower control arm bushings, swaybar bushings and endlinks. But, they don't stock 36mm sway bars bushings, nor do their bushings have grease fittings (maybe overkill with polygraphite, but I want them to be sure). You still need to get inner tie rod ends and a good idler arm, and a centerlink to be thorough.
PSC www.performancesuspension.com has a kit for 279 that has everything from PST, but the extra $100 buys two inner tie rods and an idler arm.
Spohn has a Moog kit that's more expensive, but better stuff.
If yours (like mine) is a daily driver, and never sees extreme race conditions, I'd at least price the parts from your local parts supplier. Between Pep Boys and Napa, you can find federal mogul. dana, perfect circle - pretty good stuff, and maybe you can save a few bucks on the end links, ball joints, centerlink. If you go this way, I'd get the best idler arm I can find - I'm told they are a higher wear piece than the rest (and my formula supports this). Order the poly control arm bushings, and once all that's done and installed, you can decide if you need poly swaybar bushings/ endlinks. Guldstrand.com sells the 36mm if you need them, and someone has them with grease fittings, if I find the site, I'll post it.

You can pick up zinc plated endlinks from him too, as well as a wonderbar. Check out the link to the thread that Dewey posted. It'll help a lot.
