Kandied91z HEY!!!

Hey Kandied91z, Ihave been trying to find someone for a long time who is or has ran coil overs with an after market upper strut mount. I was looking at your cars domain, and it looks as though you have this set up? If so I would appreciate some pictures of how the spring and spring retainers fit in the upper strut mount. I have a 91 z28 convertible that I am wantin to put spohns upper strut mount and coilovers on. I hope you have this set up or I am going to feel dumb.

By the way your car is bad a$$

thanks for the compliments....

yes i'm running a PA racing tubular chromoly front end set up for coilovers. i'm running an art morison coilover "perch" with eibach ers springs and custom bilstein coilover struts. i have a set of billet hunter motorsport "braces" that i'm using in existing place of the stock setup.

email me if you would like to know more.

Is it all worth it? How much better is the handling? Or is it more for adjustability purposes?

Im curious. Im always looking for ways to improve my suspension.

depends on what your looking for....you have roughly 3" up or down which is more then enough. i'm changing my suspension to airbags over the winter so anyone looking for parts; some or possibly all will be up for sale shortly.

i dont think kandied91z hey!!! is a question. i personally think it is very tech related since i believe kandied is the only one i have seen with this setup.

oh i agree.

but i asked a much more technical question earlier, and i used a specific persons name in the title.... because in another thread they mentioned it, but didnt go in depth enough for me...

yet it was deleted without looking..... and even though the info could have helped someone else who read it, i was PMed by the mod that deleted it to use PMs to talk to other people.

just pointing out the inconsistancys........
