I am told that the maximum backspacing for an thirdgens is
82-92 F-body
Maximum Backspacing Front: 5"
Maximum Backspacing Rear: 5.85"
does that mean these will fit?
They have an offset of 50mm which is 1.96850 inches, right?
here is the ebay auction
I really don't want to buy spacers. Too much of an investment to buy spacers wheels and tires. let me know...
thanks

never mind... I am stupid.
I really want those wheels, but the freakin adapters are far too pricey.
Anyone got some on the cheap?
My uncle is an aircraft machinist, and he makes a lot of custom aluminum parts. does anyone have the specs so I could have him grind me out a set.
I guess I could give him a set of old axles out of an old 10 bolt (as a template), and have him make a 2 inch thick set.
I realize that the spacer splits in 2 pieces, so do they add up to 2 inches, or is the bigger piece that goes on first the 2 inch part?
Am I rambling? Anyway, I want some 4th gen wheels!!!
Is that a normal price to pay for those wheels? It seems too cheap to me. Where is the catch? Oh yeah the adapters...

well good luck, you might be able to find some spacers for cheaper in the classified sections of this site, www.camaroz28.com , or on ebay. I remember there was a guy a few months ago selling some 3rd to 4th gen rims spacers for pretty cheap compared to how much they normally are.
