planning complete new suspension

I am planning to change my entire suspension with the following components: EIbach springs, the ones that drop the ride about 1 inch (sport option or something), smart shocks (either KYB, Edlebrock etc), an adjustable panhard rod to keep my rear end centered (I posted another thread explaining the problem I have), sway bars and complete polyurethane bushings. My question is mostly about the smart shocks (is this what they are called?). Supposedly they adapt to the ride conditions encountered, stiffen up on hard cornering etc. Are they really good for Camaro's. Camaro's are notorios for a stiff ride. Will these shocks/struts help. Which ones are better. KYB's I thing have like 5 different setting that caan be changed manually (I think that is what I read in a summit magazine). Edelbrock change automatically. What about the Eibach springs with the 1 inch drop. Anybody has experiences with them?. Are the materials used in these springs any different than the stock springs and how does this improve driving/racing quality. Will the polyurethane bushings make the ride harder in spite of the new spirngs/struts. ANy more suggestions on how to improve my suspension?.

I'll leave the spring, strut&shock, choices up to you but I'd recommend not using poly bushings for the control arms. polyurethane bushings have a bad tendancy of binding. I've had MANY friends tell me this. I put them in my brothers(Xceleratemaro) car (after warning him) and his are already doing it. I would say that del-a-lum bushings are the way to go. You can find them and read about them here .
I have KYB GR2s and I love em. Eibach makes a nice spring that doesn't settle too quickly. You'll need to find a good alignment shop though. Your Camber Is going to be WAY out after doing the spring swap. Have them set the camber about .5- on each side. Not sure but If I remember last time I had to drill the strut tower holes to get the camber into the pos with lowering springs. Anyway, don't neglect the steering (centerlink, tierods, idlerarm, pitman arm). Get the car in the air and do a shake down. Make sure nothing is loose. check for wheel bearing deflection. Good luck
