front and rear sway bar bushings

i realise that some of this information was posted in a few of the other threads, but i just want to confirm a few things. when i went to my local auto store there was 4 different sizes of bushings for the rear sway bar listed under my year/model of car. mine had a 24mm sway bar in the back. in another post someone said the torque rateing for both the front AND the back endlink bushings was 15-16, another guy said the back was 16. the front bushings are ALOT bigger than the rear ones, so it makes me wonder how the torque rateing can be so close together, plus is it the same for all sizes of sway bars? is there a torque rateing for the nuts/bushings that hold onto the actual bar? something that has been bothering me is the aftermarket (energy suspension) replacemnt bushings for my rear sway bar were a bit wider than the stock ones(the ones that hold the bar to the axel). so i couldnt get both clamps to line up on their stock position over the metal strip. the best i could do was get the drivers side one barely on the metal strip and the passanger one half on the strip. technicaly its still holding it in place but i worry about the passanger side one all the time, could it break off or bend? has anyone else had this problem?. any input on all of this would be greatly appreciated :hail:
