Eibach spring not seating properly
Eibach spring not seating properly
Im installing a set off eibach prokit springs in my camaro but im having a hard time getting the spring to seat. It won't sit into the pocket facing toward the spindle, its in the air like a half inch. The other side where the two holes are is seated fine. I think i indexed it right where the pigtail is covering one hole and is close to the other. And i have the flat side of the spring facing up.
here is a pic to show where the spring isn't seated

There's 2 sides of the spring: a flat side and a not flat side, the difference should be obvious. Maybe you have it in upside down? Flat side goes on the top. You seem to know what you're looking for with respect to indexing but something isn't right. I installed them and had no problem, and if you have them indexed right, that's the only thing I can come up with. I have install pics in my sig, maybe you can pick something up there.

is this with the car on the ground or the arms still hanging from the install, because if the car isnt on the ground the spring isnt going to sit flat with the a arm hanging down
