Mmmm...KYB struts are yummy!

Just wanted to post my opinion of my ride after installing the KYB GR-2 struts. I installed Eibach prokit springs about 1.5 yr ago. Had new stock struts on after spring installation. Kicking myself now for not putting on better struts when I did my springs. The KYBs are great. My front end was definately missing something. This really filled the gap.

For what its worth......

I've used the kyb gr-2 struts with gas-a-just shocks combination in my old '88 bird and they're a really great setup... Give the car a nice feel..

I have kybs, and other then its a harsher ride (over blown stocks at 200k) I have no problem with them. Sure their no konis or belistines (sp?).

I cant compare to koni or bilstein, but they are MUCH better than the stockers I had with the prokit. And the stock struts only had 20K on them. I'm sure they aren't the best, but hey, I'm a poor med student.

anything is going to be better then your worn out stock pieces....try some bilsteins and you'll never go back.

depends on the spring selection the hd's are perfect for a pro-kit height. check elsewhere though as you can find them cheaper....

KYB's are a good replacement for the $$ minded person.
