How do you guys do most of the work on your car...I only have a jack and some jack stands. What type of suspension upgrades are easy enough to do with my equipment and what should I take to a shop to do because they have a lift?

Not too hard really. I only have a jack, 3 pair of jackstands, and a set of ramps. I totally rebuilt my suspension, installed new headers, and welded in SFCs on ramps and jackstands. That's all you really need for minor mods such as these.

i've not been doing this very long but i've never ran into anything i wanted to do where i needed a lift. even when i was spinning wrenches for pay i never had a lift for front end work, just a big *** front ned lift and the alignment rack.

just about everything can be done on the floor but if you can use a lift take advantage of it....so much nicer.

How true, how true! Neccessity is the mother of all inventions. It also helps to be skinny and double-jointed to get in some of those places.
