easy way to remove striped bleeder?

easy way to remove striped bleeder?
striped the brake bleeders on the front, what a pain. any easy way to remove these? also how good do the speed bleeders work?

Take a smaller set of vice grips and take it off with that. Then take the bleeder to your local auto parts store and get a new one. 3.00 dollars for 2 of them. I did the same thing today.
you can buy a repair kit, 1/4 NPT fitting with a new bleeder in it. just drill out and tap, pretty quick and simple. might want to check the cost of a replacement caliper, some you can find pretty cheap.

broke off flush with the caliper
One of mine broke off flush with the rest of the caliper, and I spent a good 2 days mucking about with those silly screw extractors before I gave up and got a new set of calipers. Suppose I could have drilled and tapped, but its a bleeder valve, not an exhaust manifold.
