im getting a nasty creaking sound from the front on the drivers side when i go over slight bumps...i just replaced the ball joint (what fun) and everythings greased up...at first the strut was suspect but when i finally looked at everything, the ball join was losing all its grease as it was all over around it....well new ball joint is it, and its still makes it...any thoughts? im thinkin of replacing the strut..

 

i also failed for damping on inspection if that helps for any clues
