Rear of Master Cylinder Low Brake Fluid
Ok, this is for my 84 GN, but I own 2 third-gen's so I figured it would be ok.
I got my entire brake system redone less than 4 months ago. I have put less than 300 miles on it. Tonight I went out to drive it and there was a puddle of fluid in the middle of the garage. I looked under the master cylinder, which is new, and it had a little brake fluid on it. The lines had some fluid on them, and the puddle was brake fluid, not tranny fluid or oil. I opened up the master cylinder cover and the front resivour was full and full of dirty fluid (couldn't see the bottom) and the rear was half full and the fluid was clean. Is this an indicator of something i.e.: Front or rear, lines. There is no fluid inside the cxar and there is fluid all over the A-arm and the crossmember, that is where the fluid dripped into the middle of the garage from) Some please help me out!!!!

Check to see if it is coming from the line connections on the bottom of the reservoir. If it is, try tightening the line connections and wipe the lines clean. Siphon the dirty fluid out of the reservoir and put fresh fluid in it and do a good brake bleed to get all that dirty fluid out of the system. Periodicaly check the connections to see if they are still leaking for several days.
