Guys with 9.5 rims, what bs do i need?
i plan on getting 17x9.5 all around. I know the rear bs is 5.5 but what shoulg i get for the front.I have an 85 so i dont have the 1le brakes. Chevy ken has 5.25 and he says that is perfect and that 5.5 would hit.I dont care if i cant switch rims front to back . But i want the rims to be perfect . THey are boyd coddington so i can get any bs i want. thanks guys , i need some help. thanks jeff.
I'd go with what ChevyKen said. I dont have any experience with 9.5" wide in the front, so I cant really say. If you really want to know the perfect BS (as in does not rub/hit at full lock, and has the side fender/rim profile you want), check out Skulte's website. Using some cardboard, you can pretty much simulate any BS measurements and see what the final product will look like. I always thought it was 5.5" fronts (alot of guys with 17x9.5 TTII on the front run 5.5" but then also complain about contact with the tie rod ends), but ChevyKen said 5.25" was better with his Boyds with no contact, so I'd go with that.

I have 8,5x17 et 13 wheels at my z(-85).they have 133mm backspace and that is almost max if you dont want hit to tie rod ends.
